Discuss its impact on productivity in your organizationPerformance linked reward systemThe most important way to impress employees is only by reward to share the profit and allow them incentives by paying them bonuses the theory of reward system says that this is the way the employees will share in your dream when you fulfill their dream. The mechanism of this system can make this possible. The reward system is not just paying the bonuses and letting employees shares in the stock options. It is more likely to do with promotions, benefits and other incentives which can activate employees unfortunately many companies do not offer this which leads to the failure of their organization so all the employers and I should agree with the reward system to sustain in the market with the competitors. (Donna Dee prose P 33)The basic principle of reward system is that, you get what you reward the Employees. The main principle of management is things are done quickly if you reward the Employees, they shows positive attitude towards their works and their behavior changes if you reward them for their work. If you set a certain target for the employees and when they achieve it reward them immediately failure to do so will affect the results in the future and never hold behind the employees rewards. Therefore the main principle of motivation is by providing rewards and every organization should agree with this system for a successful organization.Benefits in on the job(p) with airline industry (Emirates)Individuals interested in finding a job which can p rovide a good career prospects which will provide the option to travel the entire world and enjoying all the benefits as a part of the Emirates group then its hard to find the better industry than airlines and specially working for the Emirates one of the worlds best flight. Utility and Universality versus Utility and the General Good :: Economics Philosophy Essays

Utility and Universality versus Utility and the General GoodABSTRACT The concepts of Utility and Universality form an answer to the utilitarian regional anatomy of Utility and the General Good. commencement from the realization that utility cannot be determined substantively, but only formally, the very premise of utilitarian philosophy has to be abandoned. The superior undecomposed is not the strong of the greatest number, but the universal good. The concepts Utility and Universality form an answer to the utilitarian topology of Utility and the General Good. Starting from the realisation that utility cannot be determined materially, but only formally, the very premise of utilitarian philosophy has to be abandoned. The greatest good is not the good of the greatest number, the greatest good is the universal good. I will develop this thesis in the following contribution.1. The good of the greatest number versus the universality of overlook of contradictionSince ancient times the concept of utility has been the catalyst between philosophy and economics. The question of the relationship between theory and practice has a finicky relevance to the issue. What is the effect of theoretical understanding on the material level? Which interrelationships does philosophy desire should there be a renunciation of material wealth, or is it as Aristotle states, that without wealth there is no contentment? What then is (economic) good? The answer often given today is to ensure that basic needs ar met. For the Greek economic philosophers among whom, Socrates, Xenophon, Plato and Aristotle, provision of goods to meet basic hunger and thirst, was not the task the social thinkers were faced with. Instincts power the drive to meet the basic needs. economic science as a science has another purpose. Before a material answer can be arrived at, there has to be a rational decisiveness of its use. Only then can we speak of a free and self-determined action, and only then can we sp eak of a scientific purpose. Instead of simply fulfilling material needs, which is the purpose of all living beings, the basic purpose of economic science is to create a system by which material goods are properly carve up/distributed and used. It is not a quantitative, but a qualitative goal. Science (Wissenschaft) is independent of the number of people by whom and on whom it is practised. The philosophers of antiquity compared the good economist with the good doctor like the doctor, the economist is only in part acting to benefit or enrich himself.

Carolyn Forche and The Country Between Us :: Country Between Us Essays

Carolyn Forche and The Country amidst Us While reading Carolyn Forches poetry in her book The Country Between Us, I often wondered what this woman has gone through while spending her time in El Salvador. She lived in El Salvador during an ugly state a time when this country was in the middle of a civil war and bloodshed. All those acts of cruelty that she faced and so clearly wrote about must ware been troublesome on her heart. And now thanks to her we can understand a piece of history and the cruelty of mankind through her rimes. These poems that strike interest in our sees, would seem as if they would still strike fear in hers. That is, to overcome those terrible memories would take a lifetime, if that were even conceivable. But in her final poem of this book she suggests that these unforgettable details can possibly be put aside. This poem she dedicates to Terrence Des Pres, someone who also has gone through similar tragedies and titles it Ourselves Or Nothing. The experiences they had and endured, Terrence Des Pres and Carolyn Forche, in turn, allowed Forche the stamina and fortitude which she encouraged within Des Pres, and thus dedicated her writing to him. Terrence Des Pres was a friend of Carolyn Forches. He in like manner was an author that wrote great contemporary poetry, the most significantly a poetic work called The Survivor An Anatomy of Life in the Death Camps. He had write this literary novel upon witnessing the tragedies occurring during the Holocaust of World War II, an event that we understand to be one of the most inhumane and gruesome events of human recollection. The Holocaust intrigued him and captured his mind and soul. Besides completion of his novel he taught at Colgate University a literature course on the Holocaust. And from his experiences, as summarized of Des Pres in the Triquarterly Fall 1996, he taught students of what he repeatedly called the dark times of 20th-century political life. But all th ese experiences he faced, and the constant reminder of them carried a great price. He drank a lot, especially as his work on the Holocaust grew more harrowing. It is noted, once while writing his book he thought he was having a heart attack, but he was medically fine instead his memories of the Holocaust had been squeezing at his chest causing psychosomatic symptoms.
